Can you believe how much has changed in the last 4 months?!
Today was a BIG day. We went to Julia's 4 month Doctor's appointment and she is doing so great! She weighs 11 pounds and 4 ounces and is 24 inches long. Kind of a shorty but I guess I should have expected that. She was a real trooper about her nasty shots, though. The nurse was so quick and she let Julia have her bottle while she stuck her. Julia was still pretty mad at her, though.
She's a little drugged out here from the Tylenol we gave her for her shots but still precious.
She must have been restored by her long afternoon nap because she also rolled over from her back to her stomach today! This is the first time she has rolled that way and she was so excited that she rolled onto her back and did it all over again! Just so I'd know it wasn't a mistake. 
Nick isn't getting too excited because he says she might have been using performance-enhancing drugs (I seriously don't think Tylenol counts, but whatever) In my book, she rolled.
Another new and exciting development at our house is the addition of the exersaucer (Thank you Ellen!) It may look like she's just sitting there but in reality she is exersaucing. It's so cute to see her playing with all the stuff on her new desk. She really loves it too. She gets very focused on completing all her tasks and only takes breaks to suck on her thumb or a toy...
Which brings me to her other new FAVORITE thing--Sophie the Giraffe! This was a gift from her Uncle Remi's family (Phillipe, Annie, Chloe and Florian) who live in France. So it's a cool french toy. And she really loves it. Her eyes light up when she sees it and she could spend hours chewing on poor Sophie's ears and nose. Thank you, Dingrevilles!!

Whitney, that is exactly what he said! I guess I will have to record it in her baby book that way.
I love this post. It just brought a huge smile to my face.. you look so happy and so beautiful! And Julia! I can't believe she is already 4 months! She is getting so big, even if she is a little shorty... nothing wrong with being short right! = ) And rolling over, with or without inhancement drugs that is awesome! She'll be sitting and standing before you know it!
She really is getting bigger.(as in grown up, maybe not height yet) She really seemed 4 months old today. She has this whole 4 month attitude and it really is working for her! I just love her so much I'm glad Ellen and I got to come see (well what you next post will probably be about so I won't blow it!) We are so proud and we are excited about many future snorts and kisses!
I can't believe it's been 4 months! I totally remember that first picture and now she's wearing it! She's gotten so big, and those smiles...!
So what is this Becky and Niki every time cousins hang out they get their own blog post? what about when Buddies hang out, where are our blog posts?? sorry i am taking performance enhancement drugs right now and it causes a bit of rage :)
Julia is so sweet and i love seeing that outfit finally on her. that is one of my favorites too! glad the ole doctor went well.
Sunday, buddies are important too! That just means we will have to hang out soon and I will make sure to take pictures this time.
What a milestone! I laughed at the part about performance-enhancing drugs, but OF COURSE she rolled! She made sure you saw her twice! Enjoyed your post!

What a wonderful girl Julia is, she is just growing so fast. So glad her appt. went well and that she is so healthy.
I hope we can hangout soon.
