We are coming off a really busy month. Here's your summary:
My mom, Stephi and Camille came to see us at the end of July. We packed their three-day visit with lots of fun--including a visit to the Nature Center, a couple of trips to the pool,
a walk up to the Grovemont Park to swing and see all our neighbors at Groovin' on Grovemont,
and LOTS of time playing at the house.
Yummy watermelon
Look at this happiness.
August has brought lots of other fun visitors...
My mom came back and brought Pops with her this time. They just came for the day but it was a really fun one. No pictures, sorry.
Then, Courtney and Paul came and gave us some great

One of my oldest and best friends, Mari and her husband Mike also came to visit with their two kids. I HATE that I don't have any pictures of that day. Mostly because I haven't seen Mari in 3 years. And it was the first time our children have met. There's just no excuse for that. Mike, if you're out there and you took pictures, can you send me some?
The next weekend, we spent time with my good friend and old roommate Tonya.
(I love this picture of us that Kim took--I just wish I could photoshop out how sweaty I am. I will just say that I had been wearing Julia in a huge backpack and it was a really hot day. I'll just say that. Plus, who cares how sweaty I am? Stop judging me.)
Jami and Andy also came and spent one of their few free weekends with us.
They were really only here a day but we had a great time with them and Julia loved getting all their undivided attention. We went out to Ole Guacamole for a really good dinner and some time to play in the Wa-wa (one of Julia's favorite things to do right now.)
The last week has been a little slower, Julia and I have been at home a lot more. Nick has been building a shed in the backyard--pictures next time.
So that's it for now. You're pretty much updated. Thanks for staying with me.
