T'was the Season

I think I'm going to refrain from making the usual excuses about why I have been absent from the blog world.  You guys already know them, so let's just dive right in to what may seem like old news, but needs to be shared.
Julia had an amazing first Christmas...

...and Nick and I both agreed that it was our best one yet.  We were super busy, but it was such a sweet time to be with the people we love.  Christmas Eve was spent with Nick's Nana and family at Jeremiah and Becky's house.  We had so much fun, so many presents to open and TOO much food to eat.

Christmas morning we opened presents at home before heading to G-pa and Memoe's to open MORE.

The day after Christmas, my parents came in town to spend time with us.  This time wasn't really about presents because we already did that at Thanksgiving, but it was so good to spend time with them. We didn't take many pictures, but here's a cute one

THEN more Christmas celebrations came with Julia's Grammy at Whitney's house:

We also spent a wonderful day with my grandparents and extended family in Macon.  I unfortunately wasn't a very good photographer that day, so no pictures.  We had a blast, though and it was totally worth the drive to see them and their excitement at having us there.

Things are starting to get back to normal around here.  Julia is getting around quite a bit these days.  She has developed her own version of the army crawl and the kitchen is her new favorite destination.  Check it out.

Thanks everyone for staying with me even though it has been SO long!  I really am going to try to be better about blogging this year.  Maybe if I put that out there I will do it...

Thanks for all the pictures! Julia is changing so fast, and she is cuter everyday. Hope she is enjoying her last couple of days with Uncle Will. :)

That crawl is great if it was like an inch higher it wouldn't be an army crawl. She is working it though! Thanks for posting christmas pictures, no worries that it's like the 4th of July..juusst joking. Sometimes another fun blog trick I do is leave out stuff if it gets to far behind I give myself permission to pretend it never happened :)
Ilike seeing pictures of your family especially your sister in law, married to your husbands brother (I know uhhh) she looks cool and looks like she makes holidays fun!
PS I'm on drugs
