That just about sums up how I feel. Absolutely blessed.This weekend, Julia and I were given such a beautiful, sweet baby shower by some of my dearest friends: Annie, Becky, Courtney, Maureen, Rachel, Sunday and Whitney. I am so thankful for all the wonderful friends and family who were able to be there. I was truly "showered" with gifts, love, advice and encouragement. Thank you all so much!!!
When I got home and had time to think about it, I realized what it was that meant so much to me about Saturday's party: I realized how many people already love our little Julia. It almost makes me cry to think of all the people God has provided who will be there for her and have a relationship with her. She is coming into the world with such a wonderful support system of Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends that she can go to for love and advice and encouragement when she needs it. What an incredible blessing!! Nick and I couldn't ask for much more for her.

Your shower looked amazing. I'm sorry I couldn't have been there physically, but I was in spirit. I hope you and Julia keep healthy and warm until her arrival! Next time I see you you'll have a little girl in your arms! I love you and miss you!

man, I meant to comment a while back but I had just written about 5 other comments on other blogs and facebooks about missing the shower and had nothing left to say. It was good to revisit the post and take a second look at the pictures. I hope you are doing alright. A little over a month now!!!!!!!!
What a gorgeous mama you are, Niki. Also what gorgeous friends! Everything about the baby shower looked lovely. The gals that planned thought of everything and the attention to detail is obvious! You are so loved, Niki! Can't wait to see pics of your little princess.
I think it's time for an update.. YOu are home resting and getting the house ready.. so maybe pictures of the nursery?? Or you precious belly.. or something.. I want to see some NIKI!! = )
