It's hard to believe it's been a month! This little one is growing and changing so much. At our doctor's appointment yesterday we learned that she is right on track. She weighs 8 pounds and 13 ounces! She is getting so big. (But still a whole pound less than I was when I came into this world. My poor mom.) Another important (and wonderful) change is that she has been sleeping a little longer at night. Tuesday she slept almost 6 hours in a row! That may not sound like a lot but believe me it is. It's the most consecutive hours I've slept since she was born. I am hoping she keeps it up.
She is also becoming more and more interested in people and things around her. She has started cooing and "talking" too--but you have to catch her in just the right mood. I finally got a video where you can hear her little voice. It took awhile but I finally got it to upload. So check it out.
Some other exciting happenings around here have included a visit from Aunt Jami and (soon-to-be) Uncle Andy last weekend. They were in town for a wedding and stayed with us. It was so nice to have them help out with Julia while Nick was at work so I could have some free time. She loved hanging out with them and I think they enjoyed it too.
Julia also had her very first real photo shoot with Sunday. We had such a great time and Sunday took such beautiful pictures of our sweet little girl! Here are a few. Check out Sunday's photo blog to see more.

Beautiful girls! Isn't it going by so fast? Just wait until you are at your six month appointment wondering where the time went!
Yay for Julia! I'm so proud of you sweet baby for sleeping longer and longer, your mom and dad are working hard for you and that is the perfect gift you can give them!
She is my favorite niece in the whole world!
-is there supposed to be a video? I'm not seeing it but it might just be me and my humble little PC:)
Happy 1 month baby Julia!!! Keep growing and sleeping longer!! = )
Oh fun! She is cute as ever and beautiful in all of the pics on Sunday's sight...you both are. Sleep makes a world of difference, doesn't it. Hope you guys are good.
six hours at a time is wonderful!
The pictures are so sweet.
I can't wait to see her!
Oh I love these pictures! My little niece is growing so fast. That video is amazing, you can just see her little mind working. She's a mover! Just like her cousin, these girls are going to run us ragged when they can finally get around. (Like we're not ragged already...) But 6 hours!! That's so great, don't you just feel like a new person!? We love you so much and can't wait to see you so soon in July. -- Aunt Stephi
It's so amazing to see the changes in her. One minute she looks just like Nick and then the next she's all Niki. She is so precious. I love the video! Of course, seeing her in person is better - can't wait to come again.
