February is not so bad

I am spending the first nice Saturday in February on the computer.  Three snowy Saturdays in a row and I had to pick this one to blog.  It's worth it to show all the fun we have been having for the last month, though (even if we spent most of it inside.)
This girl has been all about learning some new tricks lately.  My favorite is sharing with Mommy and Daddy.  She loves to give us things.  She will share her Cheerios, her toys and whatever she happens to pick up in her travels around the house.  I don't know how long this will last but it's so sweet.
I recently switched phone plans and had to move on from my beloved (but very distracting) blackberry.  I let Julia play with it for awhile and it really was like Christmas for her.  She ALWAYS wants my phone and can never get it.  She just spent one sweet afternoon with it, but I'm pretty sure she still dreams about it.

Julia also learned what the dog says. I think Jack helped her learn this trick. She will bark when she sees a dog, when she hears a dog and just whenever we mention dogs. Incidentally, she also barks when we open the curtains (Jack definitely is responsible for that one)

Julia has been having some great times with her friends this month, too.  We got to spend time with Will last week.  She had so much fun with him and he put up very well with the fact that she is a baby and not all that cool yet.  This picture is so cute!
Our dear cousin, Ellen also made several appearances at Juja's house.
And we got to see our buddy BellaRose and her precious sister Hollings!
Julia has been on the move lately.  She is getting tired of her tried and true army crawl and has started to experiment with the real thing.  I sort of thought she would skip this step because her army crawl was so efficient.  I am glad she didn't, though, because her new crawl is so cute to me.

And it has helped her learn to do this:

Other than all that, we have pretty much been hanging out, waiting for some warmer weather--which is finally here!  Hopefully you will see some outdoor pictures on the next post.

Oh my gosh, I am crying laughing about that video with the phone! She won't put it down to crawl! That is so hilarious. And I can't believe the pulling up, she is just so big. And I think she'll just be a sweet girl who is always willing to share, like her mama was. (My little hedonist never shares a thing, never has, unless it's food she doesn't like!) It seems that's a nature thing, not as much nurture as I thought.

Niki,

Julia is getting so big. Which means that we haven't seen you in forever. Which means that we need to hang out. I posit that we hang out. Soon. Before our girls are teenagers. Please.

No more army crawl?!? She's getting so big...and so cute! Those eyes! I can't believe she's already cruising around. She's going to be walking before you know it! The picture of her by Nick's leg is one of my favorite's. So sweet!

Niki, I cannot figure out how to leave messages on Stephi's blog! I've tried multiple times, and I don't know what's wrong with me, but I can't figure it out. Help me!!

Annie, I don't know what's up. I just tried it and it worked for me...It does make you select a profile--but I think that's the same on all the blogs. So maybe it was just down for a little bit.
You can just comment on it here if you want. She checks my blog several times a day. ;)

Oh, I love that last picture...she is just hanging out. I love that you guys are just little buds. We need to come make our appearance at the Swann house...I know Addie especially would think that she is just the coolest thing now...no matter what Will says. I know you guys have such fun.
