I was looking through old pictures today and was almost brought to tears by how much our little one has changed in just 6 months.

Her birthday is coming up soon and she just loves to tell us (and show us with her fingers) how she'll be 2 in "Ap-ull."
It sort of breaks my heart.
Speaking of birthdays, today is my Mom's! She and my Dad are renting a house in Black Mountain for the next year and officially moved in yesterday! Happy Birthday, Mom--and welcome home!

Sydney!! I saw your comment from yesterday on the post about my grandad and wrote back to you on there, but I thought it might get lost so I'm posting again--just in case you check. I'm so happy to hear from you! I have been wondering how you are and meaning to get in touch with you and your mom. I actually heard she was expecting from Holly last week but I didn't realize how close our due dates would be! Congratulations, Big Sister! I know you guys are so excited!! I hope we can hang out next time you are in town!
So exciting that your folks will be in town for the next year - I am sure they will be great & very willing helpers! Congrats on your little sweet bean - girls are so precious!
