Julia turned 11 months old on Monday. 11 MONTHS! I can't believe we are closing in on a year now. This Spring brings so many memories of the end of my pregnancy--walking miles on the treadmill, reading on my porch for hours, just pretty much doing anything to pass the time. I am glad I enjoyed that while I could!
The past month or so has been busier than ever. Julia has learned how to pull up and climb up stairs so her world has grown tremendously. She is all over the place. Her new favorite spot is the backyard. She is always heading for the back door. When she gets there she bangs on it, and yells for us to pick her up and PLEASE let her go outside.
Sorting the tupperware
Playing with her friend Ella Brooks.
Then last week we went to Marietta for my Grandmother's 80th Birthday. Nick had to leave on Sunday but Julia and I were able to stay until Wednesday. We got to spend time with my family, including Julia's cousin Camille. These girls had a BLAST together!
Walking by the river with the birthday girl.
Julia showing Camille her favorite youtube selections (mostly starring the Muppets.)
Just showing off for Aunt Jami.
Fun time at the park
My dad was SO wonderful to miss a day of work so he could drive us back home on Wednesday. THEN turn around and drive back to Marietta that evening because he had to work the next morning. He sure loves his granddaughter!

Back at home, Julia has been enjoying some quality time with Dad. We really missed him!

I can't believe it's been 11 months! She's getting so big! I love her little hair swoop in front. It's so cute! It seems like Camille and Julia have gotten to see each other a lot in these 11 months. Isn't it so fun having a sister with a baby too?
so glad you got some time in with the fam, you guys are too cute.
she is getting to be such a big girl, i can't wait to be at the pool all summer, it will be so fun.
love that little gardener.
What a great time! It's so hard to believe it's been 11 months! She is so precious!
Oh what a cutie! She looks so proud of herself in that first picture (I'm so proud of her too, that tupperware is really well sorted). It was so great to be around her last week, she is just the most joyful baby. Her sweetness rubs off on everyone around her. In that picture where they're both in Nick's lap it seems like Julia's saying "hold on, this is my favorite part..." That's a great picture of her with Ella Brooks too. Sweet sweet sweet.
I guess I can sign this now that you signed mine... Cause thats how I am niki, an eye for an eye, blog rules are cutthroat and you have to stay on your toes and watch your back if you want to survive out there!
aka Julia looks so cute!!!!! YAAAAY blogs!!!
I can't believe she is almost 1! Man, this year has flown by! She is just as precious as ever.. I love those pics of her standing up sorting the tupperwear.. and I'm so glad you got to spend some good quality time with your family! I'm sure your parents loved having everyone together!
Can't wait till this weekend.. we are coming up Friday night and leaving on Monday! I have a feeling Paul is going to leave me in my dust during the run, so it will be like old times running with you! Love you!
Niki, I do indeed love the granddaughter you and Nick have blessed us with, but I would never miss an opportunity to spend 4 hours talking to you. Love you, Dad
Niki, I love the gardening pictures. She looks so cute in her hat. I saw Mimi yesterday and she is very excited about being with you all for Julia's birthday next week. I can't believe she is already a year old. I hope I can see her in person the next time you all are in town. Give Julia birthday hugs and kisses for me.
